This week Eleanor Synder and Paul Taylor will join us to discuss the Katrina rebuilding efforts. Paul, who was a guest on Wake Up and Live in September, has moved back to New Orleans and will give us an update on the situation there. Eleanor, who has spent some volunteer time in Slidell working with Plenty International, will give her perspective on the rebuilding efforts. http://www.plenty.org/ and http://www.unitedpeacerelief.org/
This weeks musical interview will be with Kirby Shelstad. Kirby is a very well known artist in this community who has worked with many different types of musicians over the years. He currently has one CD on the Space for Music label and participated in the first Space for Music performances back in 1986 and 1987. One of his specialties is the electronic xylophone.
