This week we'll 'll hear from some Nashville area youth who returned three weeks ago from Ecaudor and are determined to raise $25,000 to build a school for children to whom they became attached. In three short weeks they're $13,000 toward their goal! (To read more of their inspiring story go to: http://www.secondstoryfund.org/

We'll also talk with Holly Miller, a recent Hume Fogg graduate and Glendale Baptist youth, regarding her thoughts on peace and the upcoming dedication of Glendale's peace pole. Holly and Glendale youth met Nobel Peace Laureate Jose Ramos Horta, the newly elected Prime Minister of East Timor, the world's youngest country last February. (The youth are selling minature peacepoles to raise money to attend PeaceJam in Denver this fall where they'll meet the Dali Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and ten other peace laureates. Email http://webmail.bellsouth.net/agent/MobNewMsg?to=gbc@glendalebaptist.org to obtain a peace pole for $15 . It's beautifully inscribed with "May peace prevail on earth" in four languages.)

We will also discuss the current situation in the middle east and the ramifications that may result with Cecily Friday.
