February 9, 2008

Beth Neilsen Chapman's songs have been made popular by Faith Hill, Bonnie Raitt, Keb Mo, Roberta Flack, Elton John and more, but February marks the US release of Beth's most profound CD thus far...and she's had many. http://bethnielsenchapman.com/

Her new double CD set "Prism" combines songs of devotion from Buddhist, Jewish, Sufi, Muslim, Shaker, Negro-spiritual, Hindu, Catholic, Protestant and other traditions as well as a CD of entirely new songs by Beth. We'll talk with Beth not only about "Prism" but about her journey as an artist, human being and if time permits her involvement with Peace Jam (http://www.peacejam.org/) and Healthy World Healthy Child (http://www.healthychild.org/) an organization that provides resources for learning about the effects of the environment on kids.

Cecily Friday also joins us to discuss Super Tuesday and where the elctins go from here.
