This week Wake Up & Live has an interview lined up with Philip C. Rush of Doylestown, PA. Phil is a retired school administrator who served in the USAF during the Korean War where he was stationed a year at Kessler AFB in Biloxi, Miss. For ten years he was a “weekend warrior” in a country band playing steel guitar and keyboards. He is married with two children and recently became the belated grand pop to three grandsons – a three year old and a set of one year-old twins. Phil will discuss his views on the state of our democracy as well as the significance of fundamentalist religion on current world events. He will also discuss how one can tolerate family relatives whose political philosophies mimic Attila the Hun.

Tony and Bongo Boy will be here to liven up the day with some in studio music and deep insights into the mysteries of life. And Cecily Friday joins us once again to discusss world events.
